wow…i tried to re find it on usatoday no luck…i will leave u all with this…a “swine flu” interactive map! The best part about the msm is that IT SHOULD NOT BE CALLED THE SWINE FLU, yet sure enough the name is still plastered over usatoday et. al…it kind of reminds me right after “9/11″ when sports illustrated had an article that stated the terms “war” and “bombing” should not be used to describe sporting events…of course that didn't last…

joe, thanks for the close reading of every word i typed…while i can't argue with “20 somethings dying” being perhaps a subjective “turning point,” my point was that the media et al. shouldn't be creating this “mass hysteria” (building off J Boogie's post) over something that has, of today (5/2) had 600 something cases WORLD WIDE (http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/05/02/swine.flu/... the grand scheme of “things” 615 out of billions in my opinion doesn't warrant the front page coverage that it is getting…and i'm not just talking msm like cnn.com but you go to a reliable news source like al jazzera (right wingers i don't want to hear it, there is nothing wrong with al jazzera, we didn't have a problem with them before 9/11 and as far as i know they didn't do anything post 9/11 to warrant this hatred) and they are also reporting the “flu” (though no longer referring to it as “swine flu”). moreover, this “hysteria” creates problems like this: http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/05/02/worried.we... mean with everything there is certainly “cause and effect,” but why doesn't a media source take the time (i'm too lazy) to study how this “hysteria” has prevented people who truly need emergency care and aren't getting it because someone has the sniffles and freaks out because of the media's “swine flu”
